As of 1st of October 2017, the Embassy of Denmark in Nepal no longer handles any visa and resident permit cases. The special visa phone line is closed as of 1st October why no inquiries on visa and resident permits will be possible. If you have pending resident cases then please contact the Danish Immigration Service or the Norwegian Directorate of Immigration
The telephone hours as of 1st October are Monday to Friday from 10.00 – 12.00 hrs.
Further information about the upcoming closure of the Danish Embassy in Nepal:
As a result of the decision to phase out Danish development engagement to Nepal, the Embassy of Denmark in Kathmandu will close by 31 October 2017.
The responsibility of Danish development cooperation with Nepal will from 1 November 2017 be undertaken by the temporary DANIDA Programme Support Unit and matters related to Danish development activities can be forwarded to info@danida-nepal.com.
The overall responsibility for bilateral relations between Denmark and Nepal will be undertaken by the Danish Embassy in India, New Delhi from 1 November 2017. Contact details and information about Denmark in India can be found on www.india.um.dk.
